How to become a Swim Australia Course Presenter

Course Presenters are highly trained, accredited, ethical and experienced specialists in the areas they are approved to present. Approved Course Presenters are also automatically approved as Course Administrators who may oversee the delivery of courses, handle inquiries and organise venues, refreshments and presenters.

To become a Swim Australia Course Presenter you are required to attain the following competencies before you commence this process:

• 5 years industry experience
• Current working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Relevant qualifications for the specialisation they wish to present
• VET recognised Certificate in IV in Training and Assessment
• Participated in a minimum of 3 Swim Australia Teacher workshops with a current presenter
• Participate in 1 Swim Australia Presenter workshop (over the past 3 years)

Once these competencies have been submitted and approved, the Education Manager will guide you through the final steps, which include:

• Complete the course presenter application form
• Agree to a set of Professional Guidelines
• Attend an interview with the Swim Australia Education Manager
• Pay the course presenter registration fee of $75
