Professional Development Points for Teacher Re-Accreditation

Swim Australia Teachers who wish to renew their teaching qualifications are required to accumulate and
provide evidence of having accumulated 15 Professional Development points during their 3-year
Accreditation cycle.

This is so we can determine that you have continued to develop and improve your teaching capabilities
through informal education and training opportunities and ensure that your knowledge and skills remain
relevant in our ever-evolving industry.

Professional Development points can be comprised of the following elective activities:
MEMBERSHIP
Maintain annual SWIM Coaches & Teachers Australia (SWIM) financial Membership for 3 consecutive years between Accreditation updates 15 points View Membership Information
ONLINE LEARNING
Complete any of our popular Check our Professional Development Catalogue. Up to 15 points SWIM PD Catalogue

Complete a World Wide Swim School online module related to Swim Teaching 1 point per module (Max 10 points) Register for WWSS Modules
